Terms of Service

Last updated: May 19, 2026

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of zavalahomeremodeling.com (the "Site") and any free-estimate request you submit to Zavala & Sons Home Improvement & Remodeling ("we", "our", "us"). By using the Site, you agree to these Terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the Site.

1. The free estimate is not a contract

Filling out the free-estimate form means we'll contact you to schedule an on-site visit. It does not create a contract or commit either party to anything. A binding agreement only exists after we and you sign a written contract describing scope, materials, schedule, and price.

If anything on the Site (a service description, an old photo, a city page) conflicts with that signed contract, the signed contract controls.

2. Service area

We serve homeowners primarily in Delaware and within roughly a two-hour drive of Wilmington, DE (including parts of southeastern Pennsylvania, northeastern Maryland, and southwestern New Jersey). We may decline projects outside that radius or outside the scope of work we are licensed and insured to perform.

3. Licensing and insurance

We hold required Delaware construction credentials and carry general liability insurance. License and insurance details are available on request. We do not represent that we hold credentials we don't hold; if a particular certification is required for your project (for example, EPA Lead-Safe for pre-1978 homes), we'll confirm before work begins.

4. Photos and content

Photos on the Site show our completed work and representative examples of the materials and finishes we install. Final results on your project will depend on the specifications you choose, existing conditions, and the written scope of your contract.

Site content is owned by us or licensed to us. You may share links to pages, but you may not copy, reproduce, or republish content without written permission.

5. Form submissions

When you submit a free-estimate form, you confirm that the information you provide is accurate and that you have permission to contact the homeowner at the address you describe. We will use your submission to follow up about your project as described in our Privacy Policy.

6. Limitation of liability

The Site is provided "as is". To the extent allowed by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential damages arising from your use of the Site, including lost data, lost profits, or decisions made based on Site content. This section does not limit any liability we agree to in a signed contract for actual remodeling work.

7. Third-party links

The Site links to third-party sites such as Google Maps and Instagram. We don't control those sites and aren't responsible for their content or privacy practices.

8. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. Any dispute relating to the Site (separate from a signed remodeling contract) will be resolved in the state or federal courts located in New Castle County, Delaware.

9. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms occasionally. The "Last updated" date at the top of the page will reflect the most recent change. Continued use of the Site after a change means you accept the updated Terms.
